A Heartfelt Tribute to My Mother: The Guiding Light on My Journey

I am incredibly grateful for the unwavering support and love that you have given me throughout my life. From the darkest moments of sadness and the challenges I faced to the risks I took and the failures I encountered, I can navigate those journeys solely because of your presence in my life.

No words can adequately express my appreciation for the love you have shown me. Even though I may not have been able to give and share everything I wanted with you, I find solace in knowing that I am the person I am today because of your unconditional love.

Your selflessness and dedication to our well-being have always been unwavering. You have always strived to protect and nurture us, only wanting what was best for us. In every story you shared, you beamed with pride at our accomplishments. And during our moments of imperfection, you stepped in to shield us from criticism, willingly sacrificing your well-being to elevate ours.

During times of sorrow, you infused our lives with hope and brought smiles to our faces. In moments of hardship, your ever-present support gave us strength and stability. No matter the risks or hardships we faced, you always sought solace in prayer, pleading with the Lord to provide strength and protection, especially for me, wherever I may have been. You always allowed us to continue because you went above and beyond to ensure our success.

I yearn for the warmth of your embrace. You were a mother who eagerly anticipated our arrival, yearning to shower us with hugs and kisses. I can still vividly recall you waiting eagerly by the door, ready to embrace me after my return from a vacation abroad. I don’t remember you asking for anything in return except for our good health and happiness. And even though you are no longer physically with us, your love continues to reside within my heart, embracing me daily.

Although you are no longer here to prepare our beds, fluff our pillows, tuck us in with blankets, hang mosquito nets to shield us from bites, check if our feet are warm, or touch our necks and foreheads to ensure our well-being, your thoughtfulness, and caring nature remain priceless and will never be forgotten.

My Dearest Inang (mother), you will forever be in our hearts and spirits. Your love will never fade, and your memory will endure for eternity.
